Today there are over 5 million Americans living with Alzheimer disease, a neurological disorder in which the death of brain cells causes memory loss and cognitive decline. Those suffering from this disease forget even the most important aspects of their lives and don’t remember family members. The woman in this video suffers from this terrible disease. Still, her daughter sits in her bed every day trying to get her to remember. And sometimes, her mother comes back for a few short seconds.
