Whether we like to admit it or not, most school assemblies are pretty much all the same. And one of the things they have in common is that when the principle starts talking about important things on the school agenda, everyone starts looking either at their phones or for the nearest exist.
Such was the case at this school assembly, but then things took an unexpected turn which is why this clip is now going viral. You see, as the principal was talking, a few teachers came on stage and interrupted his speech.
But don’t think the teachers were there to talk as well. On the contrary, they were there to surprise everyone with their awesome dance moves and energy. But their choreographed routine to Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk” was just the tip of the iceberg. That’s because it was actually the start of an awesome flashmob that included dozens of people.
The pep rally was organized by author and teacher, Katie Peters, and it’s safe she managed to put together a great show – and made sure the entire moment was captured on video.
