Their daughter was born with a red birthmark that covers nearly half her leg, so these caring parents decided to tattoo their own legs to replicate the birthmark.
Adam and Tanya did not want their daughter to feel different or ostracized because of her birthmark. “It was incredibly painful to get tattooed, but it was worth every second. Once the swelling went down, I showed it to her and she gently touched it and smiled as she said ‘Match,’ pointing to her own leg. She now constantly touches mine and Adam’s tattoos then her own birthmark and giggles,” said Tanya.
