Adele Berry, a British woman, has had an unexpected experience after calling Vodafone’s customer service, to complain of a phone bill. She was put through to an operator named Miguel 8,000 miles away in South Africa. He got her a discount on the bill, but, as far as he was concerned, that wasn’t the end of things. He started bombarding Adele with flirty messages. One of the texts said: “It’s Miguel from Vodafone or future hubby. Wow I knew you beautiful but damn you’re beautiful.” The woman isn’t impressed with his texts and says the whole experience is “quite scary.”
