Performing in front of a large group of people is no small feat. Even most seasoned and experienced entertainers still admit getting nervous whenever they have to appear in front of a crowd.
So you can imagine how hard it is for a teenager who has no experience on stage!
The kids in the video below play for the Eisenhower Junior High School band in Darien, Illinois. Andrew, one of the kids, was extremely excited to be picked to lead the annual Red and White Concert.
Well, if we were to judge solely by what’s going on in the video below, we might say he was a little too excited.
During their performance, the instrument Andrew was playing on broke and it came crashing to the floor, making a rather loud noise. Obviously, all eyes were on him. But instead of panicking and leaving the stage, Andrew had a reaction that is getting him praises from people from different parts of the country.
The boy quickly turned to the flag and gave proud salute and stayed in position until his fellow group colleagues finished their performance.
