Welcoming a new baby into the family is always an exciting and joyful event. All those nine months leading up to that moment have something new to teach the new parent. At this point in the pregnancy, babies are usually between 17 and 20 inches long and weigh about 6 to 7.5 pound, so they are pretty big and strong. This particular baby seems quite fussy in the womb and eager to meet his parents as soon as possible, which is why he is moving a lot.
