If you’ve ever had a dog, then you know that they are more than just pets. They are like family members. That being said, the thought of losing your beloved dog is something no owner likes to think about.
Unfortunately, these kinds of things happen sometimes, regardless of how well you’ve been taking care of your pet. The owner in the video below was heartbroken when her dog Sandy strayed from the deer lodge where they were staying.
The owner went looking for her as soon as she realized the dog was missing, but unfortunately Sandy was nowhere to be found. One month passed since the dog went missing, and everybody, including Sandy owners, started thinking about the worse that could happen.
But just as everybody was starting to lose hope, the unexpected happened. Sandy was found in the woods, more than 18 miles away from the lodge. The dog was in terrible condition. In fact, she was so malnourished that she could barely stand up on her feet. Her once beautiful coat was covered in dirt and grass patches. But she was alive.
The moment Sandy was finally reunited with her owner after a month of being apart was caught on video.
