A British woman was the victim of an unusual incident, while trying to board the subway.
She was about to lose her life because of a scarf! The woman tried to board the train when the doors were closing. The scarf was caught between the doors, the train departed from the station, and she was dragged 35 feet along the platform until, alerted, employees of the metro company came to her rescue. The victim had neck and back injuries. A similar incident, occurred also in London, but in 1997, resulted in the death of the victim.
