Author Ransom Riggs wandered all over Europe to find inspiration for his upcoming novel. He was mostly interested in old houses and interesting sceneries. This is how the man came across this abandoned home. As soon as he laid eyes on it, the author was mesmerized by its mysterious beauty. He went inside expecting to find rubble and dust, but was amazed to discover crumbs from a time long past. Riggs was so fascinated that he teamed up with urban explorer and photographer Martino Zegwaard to photograph and document the inside of these homes. The result is breathtaking!
