Michael J. Fox discusses staying positive and working through Parkinson’s

Most psychologists will say that staying positive and trying to always see the glass half full is paramount. They will tell you that negative thoughts will only cloud your judgment and make it harder for you to focus on finding a solution to whatever problem you might have.
Now, that sure sounds like great life advice and all, but you and I both know that it’s not always easy to stay positive during difficult time in your life. Life is full of challenges we need to overcome, and sometimes, those challenges seem too big to be able to be results merely through positive thinking.
Michael J. Fox is someone who despite his status of being a carefree celebrity has had his fair share of obstacles in his life. The actor was diagnosed with Parkinson disease. He made his condition public in the late 1990s and since then has been involved in numerous campaign meant to help those who suffer from the disease, as well as raise awareness about this condition.
In an interview for ABC, the movie star opened up about his condition and said that the one thing that has constantly helped them all these years was positive thinking. His thoughts are inspiring. Take a look:
