The ad tells the story of an old man who lives alone, and his children and grandchildren are always too busy to come and visit him for the holidays. His children, who already have their families, live in different parts of world.
One day, they receive letters around the Christmas holidays, informing them to come home,
as there are sad news about the elderly man.
They, in pain, hurry to reach their father’s house, to see him for the last time.
A store in Germany signed up for the race for best Christmas commercials. An agency created the new advertisement with an emotional message, specially for the Edeka stores.
