One YouTuber managed to get over 2 million views after he decided to put a clam on a table top and cover the table on salt. What happened next is something you definitely need to see to believe.
The clam appears to be opening its shell and actually lick the salt spread on the table with something that looks a lot like a tongue. There’s just one problem, though. Clams don’t actually have tongues, now do they? It’s easy to see why so many people think clams have tongues, considering the way clams are typically depicted in cartoons.
What you see in this video is not the clam’s tongue, it’s actually its foot, and it is using it to dig into the salt. That being said, this is still a pretty fascinating video that proves once more how cool nature really is.
