Lena Lenina, a Russian author obsessed with the color pink, outraged animal lovers after she hosted a party dedicated to her favorite color. She wanted her pet to be the main attraction so she painted the cat pink using hair dye. Witnesses at the party say that kitten was visibly stressed and spend the whole night trying to get out of Lena’s hands. Following the party, the cat died. The vet who examined the animal said the cat died after ingesting toxic substance on its fur. Lenina replied by saying the she chose pink specifically for its healing properties. “My vet told me it would benefit the cat,” she added.
