Ashley Bridges had a beautiful marriage and a baby on the way. But ten weeks into the pregnancy, the young woman started having terrible knee pains. The pain got so bad that she couldn’t even stand up on her feet. When she couldn’t bear the pain anymore, Ashley went to the hospital where doctors told her she was suffering from bone cancer.
The woman had her knee and part of the femur removed through surgery, but unfortunately, this didn’t cure her cancer. In spite of this, she refused the life-saving chemotherapy treatment so her unborn baby wouldn’t be harmed by radiations.
