In less than 24 hours, a man in Arizona experienced both the biggest happiness and the greatest sadness of his life. Carlos Morales was left raising his quadruplets alone, after his wife died soon after giving birth, due to complications. The man was at work when he was told that his wife went into labor. Overjoyed, Carlos ran to the hospital where his happiness was shattered by the news that his wife had died of blood loss. “I went from having the best day of my life to the next morning experiencing the worst day of my life,” said Morales. “My four babies came into the world and then my wife died.”
