I never thought I would look at 66,000 cups filled with water and call it art. But there’s no better world for what these men and women managed to achieve. It all started with one man’s vision. Artist Belo created an image composed of 66,000 cups of colored rainwater simulating levels of impurities found in water all over the planet. His main goal was to raise awareness among the general public about the global clean water crisis. It took 66,000 compostable and biodegradable cups, 15,000 liters of colored rainwater, 1 kg of vegetable dye, more than 100 volunteers and 62 hours of work to complete, but the result is amazing!
