As I’m sure you know by now, being a member of the British Royal family is not just glitz and glamour. It also involves obeying a lot of rules and customs, as well as acting a certain way when in public. Just think about it: how often have you seen someone from the Royal family act silly in public?
Chances are you can’t even remember a time, because all members of the family generally remain poise and proper no matter the situation. This is what this video so special and so unique. In it, Prince William can be seen doing something totally unexpected at the 2017 Royal Variety Performance, and his gesture is going viral.
Unaware of all the rules he has to follow as the prince of his country, one of the adorable little kids on stage asked Prince William if he would “gallop” with them. No one expected the Prince to follow through with the toddler’s unusual request, but as a father of two young children himself, he knew how much it would mean to the little girl if he would do so.
So he got up from his seat, and in front of dozens of eyes watching from the audience, he did this:
