A blind man from Minnesota was able to see his wife for the first time in 10 years, after receiving a bionic eye. Allen Zderad, aged 68, was diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease about 20 years ago, which eventually left him completely blind. But a clinic in Minnesota managed to turn back the time and restore his sight with the help of a prototype known as the “Second Sight”. The eye allows the man to see shapes and human forms.
