Ever wondered how a speed race between two planes looks like? The pilots of two passenger aircraft apparently staged a high speed race 35,000ft up in the air. In a heart-stopping video posted on the internet, a Boeing 747 can be seen streaking past by a Boeing 737. Both planes were flying on commercial routes and had passengers onboard. The two aircraft were filmed from the cockpit of another plane as they take over each other at over 35,000ft. According to safety regulations in air traffic, aircrafts must maintain a distance between them of at least 5.6 km, especially near airports.
