Due to superstitions, magpies got a bad name over time. Once regarded with superstitious awe, the unlucky magpie hasn’t got that many friend today either. Some people insist that magpies are possessed by evil spirits. The first time I read this, I was totally blown away by the fact that people still have these types of thoughts in this day and age. Then I saw this video, in which a magpie appears to be laughing just like a little girl. I instantly got flashbacks from all the horror movies I’ve seen over the years. That’s just me. I’m sure Magpies gentle creatures. I hope.
