You might think these are just pictures of swimmers, but you would be wrong. Gustavo Silva Nuñez, an artist based in Valencia, Venezuela, creates incredibly lifelike paintings of men and women swimming in water. His use of light and reflections makes the subjects of his paintings appear three-dimensional. To make things even more interesting, the artist often poses by his paintings in a way to make it appear he is about to dive into the water. His work is nothing short of amazing.
