Vanian, aged 53, and Ethereal Dark, aged 27 years form a very unusual couple. The couple, originally from Manchester, adopted the lifestyle of vampires, feeding on human blood. Although they spend their days sleeping and the nights consuming human blood, the two claim that they wouldn’t drink somebody’s blood without their permission. “That would be assault. Plus we wouldn’t know if the person is suffering from any disease”, says Vanian.
The two eat garlic, are not afraid of crosses and don’t sleep in coffins, but feed from time to time with the blood of the “Black Swans”, as they named the volunteers who offer their blood to the vampire community.
