In fact, children as young as two already know the basic difference between telling a lie and telling the truth. They start lying about little things to their advantage. The 3-year-old in the video below just got busted for making a mess and painting one of her Barbie dolls with nail polish. What is her explanation? The Barbie doll was the one that forced her to do it. Seems legit, if you ask me. Those Barbie dolls can be really pushy sometimes.
