For Megan Armer, now 22-years-old, problems started when she was just 12. She says: “From primary school the other children used to call me a fat b*tch. They would never let me on the climbing frame, saying I was too heavy. I wasn’t particularly overweight, but sometimes kids can be so cruel. The amount I ate was something that only I had power over.” She began starving herself and lived on an apple a day. By the time she was seventeen she came to weight only 50 pounds! Realizing her life was in danger the young women asked doctors for help and completely turned her life around.
