It’s mainly because catnip contains an active ingredient called nepetalactone, which causes a high in cats. But do big cats like catnip too? It’s a question that the guys in charge of the Big Cat Rescue project get asked a lot. So they’ve decided to find out once and for all if big cats like tigers, lions and leopards like catnip as much as their smaller counterparts.
