Kai Rizzuto, a young man living in New York, made the catch of his life, despite being only 16 years old. The Brooklyn teen hauled in a giant blue marlin while fishing off Hawaii. The huge fish weighs no less than 1,058 pounds and measures 11 feet from tip to tail. The boy struggled for 30 minutes before he managed to get the merlin aboard his 45-foot fishing boat. Kai said he began fishing many years ago, but before this, the biggest fish he caught weight close to 50 pounds. “I never felt anything so strong,” said Kai. The fish is so big that the first scale broke under his weight.
