Two men from China are part of the world’s strangest environmentalist group. One is blind and the other is a double-amputee, but despite their disabilities the duo managed to plant over 10,000 trees in the past decade. Jia Haixa and Jia Wenqi meet in 2001 and started to plant trees after they failed to find jobs due to their disabilities. “I am his hands. He is my eyes. We are good partners,” said Haixia. He was born with congenital cataracts while his friend lost both his hands in an accident when he was only three years old.
