Road traffic crashes are the leading cause of death among young people. Many accidents occur from people trying to overtake. In an attempt to make driving less dangerous, Samsung created the Safety Truck. The truck’s design is meant to make it safe for cars to pass up semi-trailers when riding on two-lane roads. The truck is equipped with a wireless camera on the front end and four monitors on its back end thus making it possible for drivers cruising behind it to see the road ahead. The Safety Truck prototype is currently undergoing testing in Argentina.
