An absolutely dramatic event took place in Lingao County, China, where passersby witnessed the suicide attempt of a desperate man. Rao Ni, a-39-year-old man, came to the heartbreaking decision to end his life because he was no longer able to cope with everyday expenses. But passersby spotted him on a bridge and immediately contacted the authorities who stayed with him until his 2-year-old son and wife got there. The boy was the one who managed to make the man change his mind. ‘At the end when he started calling his dad, it seemed to get through to him and then the two fell into each other’s arms,’ said a witness.
