I’m sure you’re familiar with the concept of “Mean Tweets.” Celebrities, politicians, and other people generically known as famous sit down to read some of the meanest things people on Twitter have said about them. Fun, right?
Well, as any good PR would tell you, all publicity is good publicity. What matters more than what people say about you is your reaction to it. You can easily turn a situation in your favor if you know what you’re doing.
As you can imagine, politicians in general are pretty good at this. Well, the most famous politician in the world, Obama, is not only good at it, he’s excellent. Not only is he charismatic but he also has a great sense of humor, so he had no trouble taking advantage of a mean Tweet to make some Trump references to help out a fellow democrat. With the election just a few weeks away, every hit counts.
This might just be the best edition of “Mean Tweets” ever. Regardless of whom you support in the race for president of the United States, there’s no denying that whoever takes office will have some big shoes to fill.
