If you were born back in the 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s and want to watch a video to remind you of how it was like growing up in those times, then you are definitely in the right place!
First off, let us all acknowledge those were some pretty fabulous years! A plethora of inventors, innovators, global leaders, civil rights activists and pop music icons were born during that time. Not to mention it gave us disco music and some of the greatest athletes in history.
Looking back, it’s safe to say that the world today is a lot different. Kids nowadays grow up playing on their phones and tablets, chatting with their friends via text messaged and skype. It’s a lot different compared to past generation whose idea of a good time involved physical activity and peer interaction. With no Internet, no cell phones and no social media, kids back then spend most of their time plating outside. The sun was their friend, not a vicious enemy that can do irreparable damage.
It’s not to say the world today doesn’t offer a wonderful environment for kids to grow and thrive in, but it is certainly different.
