A Japanese island turned into “Cats Paradise”. At the last census, there lived 22 people and no less than 120 cats. That means the felines outnumber the humans by 6 to 1. Authorities first brought the cats to the island hoping that to get rid of the mice that gnawed the fishing boats. But few animals were castrated, so that the cat population started to grow uncontrollably. Now, the island’s furry inhabitants are everywhere searching for food. The island has become a popular destinations for the cat lovers, but the few people living there are afraid the tourist will disturb their life.
