An American teenager was on the brink of death because of a passion which he developed for a girl from China. The 18-year-old-teenager traveled over 7,000 miles from Ohio to Jianghsan to visit a girl he met online. But the meeting did not go too well, and the girl rejected him. The boy drowned his sorrow in alcohol and was later found in a state of hypothermia on a riverbank. “He was unconscious and lying in his own vomit. It seemed that he fell into the water because his clothes and shoes were wet. He was so drunk, he could easily have drowned,” said a police spokesman.
