Norman, a labrador retriever who was saved from an animal shelter a day before he was supposed to be euthanized, was taking a walk on the beach with his owner when he heard something that no one else could- a silent cry for help! In the distance, a 14-year-old girl was drowning. Despite being blind, Norman managed to do something extraordinary: he saved the girl seconds before she drowned. If it wasn’t for this heroic dog, the girl would probably have not been alive today. To think the dog was almost put down in an animal shelter breaks my heart.
